There’s a reason Founder’s Grove is the most visited grove in Humboldt’s redwoods parks. It’s conveniently located right off Avenue of the Giants near Myer’s Flat. It offers ample free parking, restrooms, and a picnic area. And it features some of the most impressive trees in the redwoods along an easy half-mile loop trail, including the 346-foot-tall Founder’s Tree, an unnamed rare albino redwood, and the famous fallen Dyerville Giant.
