Once the world’s tallest tree, the Dyerville Giant has remained a wondrous attraction since it fell to the ground in 1991. Visitors can walk the entire length of the tree — estimated at 362 feet, 2,000 years old, and one million pounds — and marvel at its giant spread of roots. The Dyerville Giant is located on Dyerville Loop Rd. just off the Avenue of the Giants — a short (0.6-mile) walk from the parking lot on a level, ADA-accessible trail.
